UK Living Heritage call for community feedback

I’m collecting short written statements from people in the UK who use the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck: readers, artists, teachers, event organisers, and shop staff.
These statements will support a UK Living Heritage submission. The aim is to formally recognise and record Rider-Waite-Smith tarot reading as a real community practice in the UK - how it’s learned, how it’s shared, and where it shows up in everyday life (workshops, meetups, shops, events, online groups, and private practice).
What to include
A short contribution (around 50 to 300 words) covering any of the following:
- Where you read or share Rider-Waite-Smith tarot
- How you learned it
- What it means to you, and why it matters
- Any UK-based examples (events, groups, teaching, shops, local communities)
You can contribute with your name or anonymously, and you can choose whether you’re happy to be quoted.
Where will this appear?
If the submission is accepted, the practice will appear on the Inventories of Living Heritage in the UK website: livingheritage.unesco.org.uk
